When Things Don’t Go As You Planned!
Wednesday Oct 27, 2021
Wednesday Oct 27, 2021
Things happen that we don’t expect in life. We make plans, and they just don’t work out! So what do we do – rebuke the devil and pray? Yes!
But there’s something we should always do, and that is to rejoice in the Lord. Now we don’t rejoice when sickness hits us or when we lose our job. We rejoice in the Lord because of who he is and what he’s done for us!
Philippians 4:4
Rejoice in the Lord always. Again I will say, rejoice!

In today’s podcast, I share an essential leadership principle that I learned when I worked for John and Lisa Bevere of Messenger International. Also, when I traveled to Israel, I discovered the origin of Psalm 23, which is the famous battle between David and Goliath.
(Psalm 23:1,4) The Lord is my shepherd, I shall not want. Though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil; For You are with me; Your rod and Your staff, they comfort me.

How To Improve Your Family Dynamics - One Minute Devo
Friday Oct 01, 2021
Friday Oct 01, 2021
Challenges in your marriage and family? Men try this one thing…
Then the LORD God took the man and put him into the garden of Eden to cultivate it. (Genesis 2:15 NASB)
What does this really mean? Cultivate means to till, prepare the ground, and do the kind of things that promote growth through your labor and attention. It also means to improve, to take whatever you have and make it better, to create the conditions to sustain life and to do the kinds of things that make it even better than you found it. When God told Adam to cultivate the garden, he wanted Adam to bring out the very best to maximize the potential. (Excerpt from A Real Man by Brian Chu)
- Are your actions bringing out the very best in your wife, children, family members, friends, and co-workers?
- Are you maximizing the potential of everyone and everything around you?
- Are you cultivating an atmosphere in your home that welcomes God and his presence in all we do?

God Is Looking For Faithful Believers - One Minute Devo

If you have been faitfhul to God and have been experiencing difficulties, pressure and weariness then read Revelation 3:7-12 . . .
- 7 Write this to Philadelphia, to the Angel of the church. The Holy, the True—David's key in his hand, opening doors no one can lock, locking doors no one can open—speaks: 8 "I see what you've done. Now see what I've done. I've opened a door before you that no one can slam shut.
- You don't have much strength, I know that; you used what you had to keep my Word. You didn't deny me when times were rough.
- 9 "And watch as I take those who call themselves true believers but are nothing of the kind, pretenders whose true membership is in the club of Satan—watch as I strip off their pretensions and they're forced to acknowledge it's you that I've loved.
- 10 "Because you kept my Word in passionate patience, I'll keep you safe in the time of testing that will be here soon, and all over the earth, every man, woman, and child put to the test. 11 "I'm on my way; I'll be there soon. Keep a tight grip on what you have so no one distracts you and steals your crown.
- 12 "I'll make each conqueror a pillar in the sanctuary of my God, a permanent position of honor.
- Then I'll write names on you, the pillars: the Name of my God, the Name of God's City—the new Jerusalem coming down out of Heaven—and my new Name.

Proverbs 8:17 - I love those who love me, And those who seek me diligently will find me.
I was talking with our kids tonight about how important it is to SEEK after God regularly. You can do this by reading the bible, prayer, listen to worship, going to church, etc.
James 4:8 - Draw near to God, and He will draw near to you.

Live To Forgive - One Minute Devo
Wednesday Sep 08, 2021
Wednesday Sep 08, 2021
Have you ever been hurt - disappointed by a friend, family member, church leader, or co-worker?
LIVE TO FORGIVE
I myself always strive to have a conscience without offense toward God and men. (Acts 24:16)
Being angry at God or holding bitterness towards someone that hurt you will hinder your relationship with God. If you live on this earth and breathe air, you will have many opportunities to experience offense, hurt, hatred, and betrayal. Jesus said that offense and hatred in the Church would be two signs of the last days.
Matthew 24:10 Jesus said, “And then many will be offended, will betray one another, and will hate one another.”
